CG Art Competition



Due to long Christmas and New Year holidays, the Share One Planet Organizing Committee has decided that the competition deadline will be postponed.
Submission: August 1st, 2010 – April 20th, 2011,
Judging: May 1st, 2011 – June 1st, 2011
Awards Announcement: June 15th, 2011

“Share One Planet” Wild Animals CG Art Elites Invitational Competition is the first global competition of the “Share One Planet” series. The competition will invite CG masters worldwide to take part. Winners will be rewarded not only with cash, but also the receive specially-designed trophies. The winning entries of the competition will be first exhibited in China and then toured internationally in an exhibition. Organizers hope the platform of “Share One Planet” can be built for encouraging artists to create meaningful and inspiring CG works and for promoting great CG artists, raising attention to wild animals and the protection of the global environment.

Exhibition


The Fondation Cartier in Paris presents MŒBIUS-TRANSE-FORME, the first major exhibition devoted to the work of Jean Giraud, known by his pseudonyms Gir and Mœbius. An icon of incomparable stature in the world of comics and film. The exhibition presents the first 3-D animated film directed by the artist, La Planète encore, along with the stories from the original comic boards. “□□ and Its Friends”



The Creative Cartoon Competition, themed on “□□ and Its Friends”, is jointly held by Shanda Games and leewiART, with the objective to design international standard cartoon figures and to represent all FLASH, web and casual products of Shanda Games. Winning artwork will have the opportunity to eventually become the major product logo of casual community and games of Shanda Games.
